{Summer life}

Sorry for the overload of posts. Not really. But I'm just kinda trying to catch up on the past few weeks cuz I didn't have this blog yet and I want to document the things I've been doing so yeah. Hence the post overload. My other ones have been pretty thoughtful so now here's just a "what I've been up to" kind of post.

Halea wanted to go to the car cruise in AF so we had the brilliant idea to take dates! And dress up all '50s! I took Gibs and Halea took Braden. It was so fun. And we looked adorable. We got to the car cruise and realized that Bessie (Halea's car) was just as cool as any of the other cars. So Braden asked the police officer if we could be in the show and he said we could! So we got to cruise! Needless to say it was pretty exciting. I felt so legit and so many people stopped us and told us we looked cute :) Then we went to Johnny Rockets and got shakes and fries. It was a good time. Gibson looked great with his greaser hair.

24th of July parade with my sisters and grandparents. My parents were in Boston all week so we just kinda got to hang out. Needless to say I spent a lot of time doing a whole lot of nothing. And I'm glad they're back.

These two. Stop being so funny. Actually don't. I love our "heart to hearts" where Gibson gets all excited and does funny hand actions and tells us about his childhood life. So funny.

We had a picnic in the middle of a roundabout. Cuz we're crazy kids. Not really, it was just on our bucket list.

Logan finally sent a few pictures! Woohoo! His companion is Elder Marshall, the one in the middle. Logan says he's way cool and they're working well together.

I went to the temple with Rachel and Halea. The temple is always fabulous and we got snowcones too- at the fancy shack in Alpine that we hardly ever go to. Success. Grapefruit and coconut with cream? Yum.

Another temple trip! This time we went with Derek and he got to baptize us. I always love getting baptized by my friends, it makes the trip that much more meaningful and special. I love the temple and the peace it brings into my life. "As we touch the temple and love the temple, our lives will reflect our faith. As we go to the holy house, as we remember the covenants we make therein, we will be able to bear every trial and overcome each temptation." -President Monson

Car show part 2. Halea got invited to another car show so we of course tagged along. It was a lot of fun looking at all the cars and laughing at how the old men have spent all their time and money on these cars.

I think that's it for now. I'll probably think of more later and continue my killer posting streak.
